1flux vs Business Central

A Business Central alternative with B2B trade built in

1flux runs quotations, purchasing, receiving, stock and the books for B2B traders on one AI-native platform, with country detail built in rather than added by a partner.

In short

1flux is a Business Central alternative built for B2B trading, distribution and project supply. Country packs, local purchase order (LPO) and goods received note (GRN) flows and Arabic/English quotation layouts come in the core product, and the books include supplier payments, financial statements, bank reconciliation and VAT returns. AI works on the same records, so Import PO with AI drafts quotations from a customer's PO, and admins shape workflows and approvals in settings, without code.

Why teams switch

Why do trading companies choose 1flux as a Business Central alternative?

1flux runs the trading flows in the core product, configured in settings, so there's less to assemble and nothing to develop.

Country detail in the core product

When you create a legal entity, its country pack seeds the tax codes and registration fields: VAT 5% with TRN and trade licence for the UAE, VAT 15% with CR, VAT number and unified number for Saudi Arabia, and GST for India.

  • The Saudi National Address with Arabic twins and validation.
  • Arabic names display correctly throughout, and item search understands Arabic spelling variants.
Arabic-ready data and multi-currency

The trade’s own documents

A quick local purchase request (LPR) converts to a purchase order that prints as a "Local purchase order". Stores check goods in on a GRN, and a goods receipt report posts stock with a reason for every short, over or rejected quantity.

  • Checked & approved needs a photo or scan; Checked with comments needs comments.
  • A formal quotation cover letter with 3 signatories.

AI built in, not bolted on

1flux's AI works on the same structured, connected and permissioned records as your team. Import PO with AI reads a customer's PO or RFQ and drafts the quotation lines, matching exact item codes to your catalogue with a confidence score.

  • It never invents values.
  • Approvals by amount band block sending until approval.
AI in 1flux

Configured in settings, not developed

Admins configure workflows for deals, quotations and tasks under Settings → Workflows, without code.

  • Stages and assignment rules, including round robin.
  • Required fields and checklists before a stage.
  • Any, all or quorum approvals, with amount bands on quotations.
  • Service levels with "overdue" badges, and automations.
Workflows and approvals

Open it and see what needs you

Seven overview pages (CRM, Sales, Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse, Inventory and Accounting) open on a "Needs action" list, and each row links to the exact records.

  • The warehouse board shows no prices.
  • The order-to-cash board moves only when the real document exists.

Every company in one workspace

Each legal entity has its own currency, registrations, warehouses and books, and its own document sequences. A financial consolidation run combines them into a group currency at average and closing rates, with a visible translation difference.

Switching

How do you switch from Business Central to 1flux?

1flux's import tools are built for a data migration that starts on a clean cutover date. Each import is validated before anything is saved, and errors come back in a downloadable file.

  1. Prepare your files

Customers, items, stock on hand by warehouse, and a trial balance at the cutover date.

  2. Set up your legal entities

Choose the UAE, Saudi Arabia or India for each. The country pack seeds tax codes and registration fields.

  3. Load your chart of accounts

Start from the one-click 25-account trading template, or import your own by CSV.

  4. Import customers and items

Companies and contacts up to 5,000 rows and 10 MB per file; items up to 10,000 rows, matched on code or barcode.

  5. Post opening balances

Opening stock (up to 10,000 rows, validated all-or-nothing) and the opening trial balance post once, on the cutover date.

Suppliers are created in 1flux or copied from your CRM companies in one step. Read more about planning the move in data import and migration.

FAQ

How is 1flux localised for the UAE and Saudi Arabia?

1flux includes country packs for the UAE, Saudi Arabia and India as part of the product. Creating a legal entity seeds its tax codes and registration fields, such as TRN and trade licence for the UAE or CR, VAT number and unified number for Saudi Arabia, plus the Saudi National Address with Arabic twin fields. 1flux also has ZATCA and UAE e-invoicing built in, on the same sales invoices that post to the ledger.

Does 1flux produce financial statements?

Yes. 1flux produces a profit and loss and balance sheet for each legal entity, straight from the ledger, and every operational transaction posts to a double-entry ledger automatically. It also pays suppliers against purchase invoices, reconciles bank accounts and prepares VAT returns, and the Accounting overview tracks a six-step close checklist that ticks itself.

Does 1flux support ZATCA e-invoicing?

Yes. 1flux issues ZATCA-compliant e-invoices for Saudi Arabia, covering Phase 1 (generation) and Phase 2 (integration with ZATCA's Fatoora platform). It also supports UAE e-invoicing under the Federal Tax Authority's programme, ready for the 2027 go-live dates. E-invoicing runs on the same sales invoices that post to the ledger. See e-invoicing in 1flux.

Can 1flux run a UAE and a Saudi company in one system?

Yes. One 1flux workspace holds several legal entities, each with its own base currency, tax registration, letterhead, warehouses and books, and its own sequence for orders, invoices and journals. People can be limited to specific entities when you invite them. A consolidation run combines the group into one currency and shows the translation difference.

Can 1flux be configured without code?

Yes. Admins configure workflow stages, assignment rules, approvals, required fields and service levels under Settings, without code. They also add custom fields, set numbering formats and build custom roles from more than 100 permissions. Quotation approvals can target amount bands, and every stage move, approval and override is kept in the record's history.

How do we move from Business Central to 1flux?

1flux moves you on a clean cutover date. Prepare customers, items, stock on hand and a trial balance at the cutover date, then bring them in with the import workbench: companies and contacts up to 5,000 rows per file, items up to 10,000 rows. Every file is validated before anything is saved, and opening stock and the opening trial balance post once, on the cutover date.
