Make every salesperson accountable for the cash, not just the sale
1flux CRM brings cash collection forecasting to your sales team: each salesperson commits to what they'll collect this month and next, records actuals and tracks their Hit %.
In short
The 1flux collections forecast asks each salesperson to commit, every month, to the cash they expect from each customer, and optionally each project, this month and next. They then record what was actually collected. 1flux shows the variance, a Hit % and a six-month "Forecast against collected" chart, and managers see their whole team. Every number is the salesperson's own commitment.

Why does cash still surprise a sales team?
In many B2B trading companies, sales owns the order and finance owns the money. Salespeople hit their target while the cash arrives late, and nobody had to say in advance what would come in.
“We hit the sales target and still ran short of cash.”
“Finance chases the customers. Sales says collection isn't their job.”
“The collection plan is a spreadsheet emailed on the 1st and forgotten by the 10th.”
“I find out a big customer won't pay this month after the month has closed.”
How does cash collection forecasting work in 1flux?
Each salesperson adds a forecast line for a customer, and optionally a project, for this month or next month. When the money comes in, they record the collected amount against the same line. 1flux keeps one line per legal entity, salesperson, customer, project and month, so the numbers stay clean. Learn more about the cash collection forecast.
- Add forecast in the page header, or Add on the month card.
- Fields: Customer, Project (optional), Month (this or next), Forecast, Collected (current month only) and Notes (up to 500 characters).
- Quick entry: type collected amounts straight into the customer row on the dashboard.

How is the forecast different from receivables?
The 1flux collections forecast measures the salesperson’s own commitment, while receivables measure what customers owe. An aging report tells you what is due. The forecast records what the salesperson expects to collect this month, based on what the customer promised, and then holds them to it. Salespeople commit to every number themselves.

What is Hit % and how is it shown?
Hit % is the amount collected as a percentage of the amount forecast. 1flux colours it so a manager can read the month at a glance: green at 100% or more, amber at 80% or more and red below 80%.
- Tiles: Total forecast, Total collected, Variance and Hit %, with a six-month sparkline on Hit %.
- Month card: Forecast, Collected and Hit, with a “Collected against the forecast” meter.
- Six-month chart: “Forecast against collected” for the last six months, including this one.
Hit % = collected ÷ forecast
Example| Customer | Forecast | Collected | Hit % |
|---|---|---|---|
| Customer A | SAR 150,000 | SAR 150,000 | 100% · Green |
| Customer B | SAR 80,000 | SAR 68,000 | 85% · Amber |
| Customer C | SAR 40,000 | SAR 20,000 | 50% · Red |
When can forecasts and actuals be entered?
Forecasts can be set for this month and next month only, and they lock when the month ends, in your legal entity’s time zone. Collected amounts can be entered on any day of the current month and for past months.
- In the last 5 days of the month, a “{Month} is closing” warning appears with an Enter actuals button.
- The month picker covers the 5 past months, this month and next month.
- Amounts are in the legal entity’s base currency, falling back to the workspace default.
- Forecast (This month and next).
- Record collections (Any day this month).
- Month is closing (Last 5 days: Enter actuals).
- Month ends (Forecasts lock).
- Late payments (Still recorded on past months).
What do managers see?
Managers see the forecasts of everyone below them in the reporting line, and can narrow to one person with the All salesmen picker. They can’t edit their reports’ lines, so the number stays the salesperson’s own commitment. Admins see and edit everything.
- View: Dashboard for the month card, the customer table with project sub-rows and the six-month chart.
- View: Table with Month, Salesman, Customer name, Total forecast, Total collected, Variance, Notes and Hit %, plus a total row.
- Salespeople see and edit only their own lines.

Owners and finance managers

What is a cash collection forecast?
1flux treats a cash collection forecast as each salesperson's estimate of the cash they'll collect from customers in a period. In 1flux, salespeople make it per customer, and optionally per project, for this month and next month. They then record what was actually collected, and 1flux shows the variance and a Hit % for each salesperson.
What do managers see in the collections forecast?
1flux shows managers every forecast from the people below them in the reporting line, and they can filter to one salesperson. The lines stay read-only for managers, so each number remains the salesperson's own commitment. Admins can see and edit every line in the workspace.
How far ahead can salespeople forecast collections?
1flux lets salespeople forecast the current month and the next one. Forecasts lock when the month ends, in the legal entity's time zone. Collected amounts can still be entered for the current month and for past months, and the month picker shows the 5 past months as well.
How is Hit % calculated?
1flux calculates Hit % as the amount collected as a percentage of the amount forecast. It colours the figure so a manager can read the month at a glance: green at 100% or more, amber at 80% or more and red below 80%. Hit % shows as a tile with a six-month sparkline, on the month card and in every row of the Table view.
Can salespeople forecast collections per project?
Yes. Each 1flux forecast line names a customer and, optionally, one of your projects, for suppliers who are paid site by site. The dashboard's customer table shows project sub-rows under each customer, and 1flux keeps one line per legal entity, salesperson, customer, project and month, so the numbers stay clean when several sites pay separately.
Which currency does the collections forecast use?
1flux uses the legal entity's base currency. Each forecast line belongs to one of your legal entities, and 1flux shows its amounts in that entity's base currency, falling back to the workspace default. A UAE entity and a Saudi entity each forecast in their own currency, such as AED 12,500 or SAR 4,200.
